Worked at Visitor Center 1999-2000. - I worked at the Visitor Center here from July 1999 to Feb 2000, and again from June 2000 to August 2000. I enjoyed all my time here. Nice Park.

Beautiful area- horrible stay - The location is simply gorgeous We are are driving across the country and found this lovely state park to spend a few nights. Called the number listed , recording said walk in first come first served.perfect. We arrive around 3 p.m. to roped off campgrounds, roped off sections. Finally found a spot to set up camp The bathroom facilitates were still closed for the season but porta-potties were available . The condition they were in was disgusting. Didnt look like they had been emptied in MONTHS. As a matter of fact, looking at a review from 4 month earlier with the same complaint, Id say they hadnt been emptied in 6 or more months. Our stay here was shortened to an overnight only.

Peaceful - This is a very beautiful place for people who enjoy the quiet serenity of nature. Campsites are well spaced apart, well maintained trails, clean bathrooms A perfect place for an artist to view and be inspired by the land around you.

Path - This definitely needs a path as well as steps that lead to and from campsites and parking areas. Walking down a rocky hills very dangerous as well A not handicaped suitable. Please fix this issue

Wonderful Memories - My husband and I spent part of our 25th anniversary trip and his birthday in Rockhound State Park many years ago. It was our first but not our last stay in one of the most beautiful and well maintained parks out of the 37states we visited.. I have many wonderful memories of camping there and witnessing the Duck Races in Deming. Thank you for the hospitality and memories.

Unbelievable adventure park - What a wonderful park The trails around and through this park are amazing. We hiked and biked and then went to the near by hot springs to relax our tired bodies. Even stayed a second night for another day of fun Sunrise and sunsets were stunning

Great if it opens - People are crowding in big box stores, but families not allowed to camp in healthy outdoor air

Favorite park. - Very nice and quiet park. People very nice. Camp hosts were excellent. Willdefinately be going back.

Had a great time - Myself and 3 teens. We reserved a site and stayed 2 nights during the week. Was quiet. Would do it again.
