Overlooking the water of Narragansett Bay. Intersected by East Bay Bike Path. 33 picnic sites each with a fireplace. Two baseball fields, and a dog walking area called Paws path.
History of the Area
Haines Memorial State Park was established in 1911 when Ida M. Haines donated 83 acres of land to the Metropolitan Park Commission. The land was donated for use as a park in memory of her brother.
