Directions
1. Start by heading north on Interstate 87 (I-87) from Albany.
2. Continue driving for approximately 50 miles until you reach Exit 23 towards Warrensburg/Diamond Point.
3. Take the exit and merge onto U.S Route 9 North.
4. Stay on US-9 N for about 10 miles until you reach a roundabout near Lake George Village.
5. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on US-9N/Lake Shore Drive/State Highway NY-903L toward Bolton Landing/Fort Ticonderoga/Ti/NY-NJ Ferry/Montreal/Irvington/Crown Point Bridge/Vermont/New Hampshire/Maine/Boston/Saratoga Springs/Glens Falls/Warrensburg/Hague/Rochester/Airport Road/Park & Ride Lot #6/The Sagamore Resort Hotel/Shelving Rock Rd./Hulett's Landing/Oak Tree Lane/Kattskill Bay/Stewart Dam Boat Launch Site/East Side of Lake George Island Group Campground/Long Island Camping Area/Public Beaches/Private Marinas/Usher Park Public Recreation Areas/Yacht Clubs/Jennings Park Picnic Pavilion Complex/Fireworks Display Sites/Municipal Parks with Swimming Facilities or Playgrounds/Private Homes along this route that are not accessible via other routes).
6.Continue straight ahead following signs for Hague/Western Shores of Lake George Islands Region/Huletts-on-Lake-Hudson River Valley Scenic Byway
7.After around another mile, turn left onto Graphite Mountain Road (County Hwy S54). There should be signage indicating Donnerville State Forest at this intersection as well.
